Procurement Team Lead

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Complete Procurement cycle check, analyze & monitor
• Majorly closely monitor & maintain relationship & agreements in place with Business partner orders, 3rd party import & domestic orders, Raw material planning & analysis.
• Strategic Purchasing for Dxb/Qatar/KSA based on forecast plan, Open SO’s, incoming projects from Sales team.
• Check & Monitor Procurement process and policy manual or SOPs.
• Vendor Management - Evaluation, adding new vendors, Sustaining current vendors, Increasing payment terms. Monitoring, Analyzing on lead time from different Vendors.
• Updating ETAs for every order in system.
• Monthly/ Quarterly meetings with Sales/ Finance/ Production/ Warehouse/ SAP department within the organization.
• Monitoring the Inventory w.r.t Purchases in line with Warehouse team.
• Periodic checks & reports on key SAP transactions to ensure clean & valid data within systems.
• Managing & handling the team members by ensuring workload is evenly balanced across the team & recommend changes with needed.
• Supporting team performance by undertaking activity as required, covering other team roles during absence or during peaks in demand.
• Monitoring complete procurement activity & ensuring smoothly & efficient process & if needed recommend changes.
• Training new joiners and monitoring performance during the training and probation period
• Providing analysis and recommendations where targets have not been met.
• Monthly/ Quarterly MIS report – TAT report (PO date to Shipment arrival date) / Open Orders of Suppliers/ Cost savings/ Raw material Summary

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Masters Desirable)
• 8-10 years of experience in procurement with at lead 3 years in the UAE
• Previous experience in India (Maharashtra, Mumbai or Pune)
• Strong understanding of ERP systems SAP (preferably)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven record of leading a team, or mentoring other.
• Proven experience in a Manufacturing company and procuring raw materials.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English, and Hindi
• Full UAE Driving License (Must have)
